Hi Arden you wonderful penquin lady you! I was wondering, Why is it that clay is a certain weight, then when you cut it in half the weight doubles? Since your basically making 2 pieces of the same block it should stay the same right? Clay - three pounds and lump 1.5? But it doesnt. When I forage for clay I have to make sure I only get HALF the capacity of my container because when I cut it it doubles weight. |

Thank you for pointing that out. It was a problem with foraged clay, but it has been taken care of.
