|
|
I don't think I was clear in game.
Regarding the silver ingots, when I put them in the component bag they turn from INGOTS into NUGGETS which means I have to remelt them. They stay ingots in a backpack, but not in the component bag. The titanium ingots stay ingots though when put into the component bag, I haven't messed with other metals yet.
Example:
Code: |
>l silv in comp bag
L in what?
>l silv nug in comp bag
Before a silver nugget can be used in an alchemical mixture, it must be melted, cooled, and shaved.
There appears to be one hundred thirty-seven units worth of silver nugget.
>get ing
>
You get a silver ingot from an ingot casting die.
>put ing in comp bag
>
You drop a silver ingot into your component bag. The bag now holds 187 units of a silver ingot.
>l in comp bag
Inside a kucho pelt component bag you see some vyeftium dust, some copper dust, some alloy dust, some silver dust, some onyx powder, an argurat fruit, some argurat pulp, an archer's arrow, some turquoise powder, some gold dust, some imfel pulp, some Aroai powder, some ruby powder, some diamond powder, some titanium dust, some sapphire powder, a sapphire, an emerald, a copper nugget, a silver nugget, a gold nugget, an Aroai stone, a turquoise stone, a ruby, a vial of ortus extract, a titanium ingot, some placa pulp, some ortus pulp, and a titanium ingot.
>l silv nug
Before a silver nugget can be used in an alchemical mixture, it must be melted, cooled, and shaved.
There appears to be one hundred eighty-seven units worth of silver nugget.

P.S. Also we mine for silver, and we put silver in container, not nugget. That was changed long ago. _________________ ~* TruSt iN YouRseLf *~ |

I've looked into this and from what I see, the only way this could happen is if the two silver items were at exactly the same stage of preparation, despite their names. For instance, if the ingot was not actually right at the shave stage for some reason, or if the silver nugget was prematurely at the shave stage. So the most likely culprit is a silver resources that isn't at the level of prep that its name would indicate.
It should not be possible that true fresh raw silver ore and true ingots ready for shaving ever combine. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

Following up, I found some nuggets (of all metals that come in nuggets) in treasure loot that were being found at the shave stage, so they didn't have to be cast to ingots. Since these are mechanically identical to ingots, they'd combine freely. I have fixed this and existing/future nuggets will all require casting to ingots and thus not combine with ingots in the bags anymore. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato
