Can people with good appraisal get something more specific than "under a pound" for stuff under a pound, sorta like how they can see actual amounts in their encumbrance? _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

bumping this just because i love the idea of being able to tell if something is 0.01 pounds or 8.75 pounds and whatnot. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

I also wouldn't mind if some shop had a weighing station, for those who don't train appraisal, and for those who do to gouge how accurate our appraisal weighs are. _________________ Victim: Well, what is the creed?

i'm against it just because i want to feel like i trained app to 200 for a reason. it does so little as it is.
that said, you know you're accurate when you're 'certain' something weighs 'exactly' x or between x and y. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

yz
but more that, as someone playing a character that is very weight-incapable, there's a world of difference between me carrying 10 objects that weigh .5 pounds each vs 10 that weigh .1 pound each. i've been trying to make yaru as light as possible lately just for the sake of something to do. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

The WEIGH command has been modified as follows:
- WEIGH now teaches appraisal NSKILL.
- Appraisal skill of 150 or more allows characters to weigh objects without any roundtime.
- Appraisal skill of 200 or more allows characters to weigh objects under a pound in weight to ounce-level precision. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

trevor, you rock the casbah.
weighing gives roundtimes still, though (but really, shouldn't it if it teaches nskill?). _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

Yeah I fixed it. BTW, nskill gains won't occur for those in the 150+ skill crowd. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato
