But being slower then auto's to load? Not really....thats what speed-loaders are for...kinda like magazines for semi-auto pistols. Single action revolvers are horridly slow to load (sorry husband is an avid shooter and drags me along too) But they are more powerful due to the design being hardier then that of a semi-auto.
