Anything circulated to civilians would have to be safeguarded for the likelihood that Something Bad Can Happen (TM); it's why you don't find particle accelerators at yard sales.
This is all irrelavent in light of the fact that meltdown/detonation doesn't occur because somebody's longsword smacks a nuclear core. It's a result of overheating or agitating the atoms to the point of reaction.

in a society that probably deals with the fact that combat is something that can and does happen often, i really doubt they went "i know, lets put atomic energy in the bots!" without knowing they might be attacked.

and my idea wasn't about breaking the droid, it was about disabling the tools on the droid, which, naturally, could then just be repaired by the tech. so if anything i'm giving one of the less harsh opinions on the subject.

droids use a device that turns them invisable, no real skill needed.. but maybe inventing a device that detects the electromagnetic field?

It is. How long a droid can remain in stealth seems level based to the tech. When I first got Beast, he could go stealth for 20 seconds! XD

XD Hehe. I just calculated Beast's parts. I coulda bought a large house with him and all the times I went to the Vale and bought the next upgrade!

Um..off topic now...but do the better parts actually do anything?

i'm of the mindset that even something invisible is never undetectable. someone with a buttload of perception and/or streetwise/tracking should be able to even tell if something that isn't visible is standing next to them.

that, and alteri danger sense. always gotta find a way to have danger sense do something. Very Happy

Why I think its a wasted cause to actually respond.. unless he is aiming at you while invisable there is no danger. and my drone is floating, so I'm not sure how tracking comes into play? do you see people levitating when you scout?

I'd be all for players being able to shoot out cameras and stuf...when we can have our droids shoot people down for their disrespect! HAR!

i dislike being spied on. just because there's no physical danger doesn't mean something chasing me around can't be an annoyance. we should be able to get rid of annoyances.

and i said tracking/streetwise should be used to detect something invisible because tracking/streetwise is used to determine if something is hiding (tracking for out of city, streetwise for in city). invisible just means 'hiding with other methods'. invisibility shouldn't be 100%.

i'm not adverse to having to deal with a pissed off robot, either, but then again the tech can handle it his or herself as well.

Invisible also means "invisible." That's why there is a "See Invisible" power.

And I did sujest a device that would stop them from being invisible, or at the very least allow you to know something is there.

No offense buddy but I've been reading your posts and you'd be hard pressed to beat a first grader in a spelling contest. May I suggest www.dictionary.com.

Not only will it make your posts look more intelligent in return making you look more intelligent, you'll actually learn how to spell correctly.

I'm not usually prone to 'flaming' like this but in your case you seem intent on arguing with everyone, I figured I could give a nice pointer.

Not everyone, and I've come to deal with my shabby spelling. Also, I've been awake for the last 24 hours, so if I type sujest, when I mean suggest, I dont give a fuck. you know damn well what I mean.

EDIT: I wanted to add that its really fucked up to post something like that, when two GM's posted in this thread against Hostle comments.

It's hardly fair to single him out when so many people have this problem (not even counting those who do it purposefully).

I suppose since Yaru has become the Forum-fuz I could become the Guardian of Grammar and single out everyone. I just singled this person out because they have posted so much in a short amount of time and it is very noticeable. But you're right, not everyone can be a champion speller.
