Bug 1: You can't 'put' it anywhere. Only 'stow' works.
Bug 2: You can't 'get' it either. Only 'grab.'

....how does this thing work? It's been an hour since I put powder inside of it.

note to self, read boards before buying anything new *chuckle*

okay so this fusion thing and crystal thing is pretty cool. Note that I came across was, i created a brand new mage right out of the life corridor, and she can make crystals. Is there no level/skill requirement for this? I wouldn't mind it, since like i told morgie, its a great way for new mages to possibly make money.

However, I can see people (yes even myself) who if they don't see a mage on, or don't want to pay for them typing two words, will make their own baby/pet mages and just do it themselves.

So was just curious.

I brought my own mage out of storage. I haven't played him in several months...but yes. I brought him out so I can do crystals. That said...my mage IS in the mid-20s, promotionwise...but yeah...

I also think focusing on these fills your mind a bit too well.

Maybe older mages can make crystals that last a lot longer than little mages?

Any mage can make the crystals and this is intended. Crystals are useful as a light source but they primarily exist as a way to train Arcane Artifact Use, both for Mages and non Mages. Remember, that skill will be necessary to make use of bonused items in the future.

Does that mean that the nskills we get now will actually count?

All skills will be reset when we finally open the new skill system up. I'm not going to reset skills again before that unless we absolutely need to, and if so, only the skills that need to be reset for testing, not all skills.
