Morrigan pointed out the EXCELLENT in game books from Captain Muja's library so I am replacing the metal and wood posts with the information contained in those two guidebooks. The original books can be purchased on Chodaku at Captain Muja's Library.

Code:
Name: Ailferton

Description: Ailferton is a fairly durable, common metal, which is an alloy of Eilaro and Llirae. This metal comes in silver, blue-black, silvery-blue, indigo. Ailferton can be cast, forged or machined and is used to make weapons and armor. If allowed to oxidize, it will rust and turn black.

Name: Bornrak

Description: Bornrak is a common metal made from the combination of Drachna and Xoyeis. It's color ranges from sickly gray-green to vibrant deep emerald. It is very lightweight, extremely sturdy, and somewhat flexible when formed into items of smaller thickness. Bornrak can be machined and forged, although it is extremely resistant to heat, which makes it very difficult to work with. This metal is used to create high-stress high-temp machine parts, cookware, and armor. If allowed to oxidize, it will tarnish and turn gray.

Name: Drachna

Description: Drachna is an uncommon green metal that depending on how it's processed changes to a yellow-green, pale green, emerald, or jade green hue. This metal can be forged or machined, but it is difficult to work with. Drachna is typically used for armor, weapons, and other high strength applications. If allowed to oxidize, it will corrode and turn a yellow.

Name: Eilaro

Description: Eilaro is a common dull pale blue metal that is found underground near volcanoes. When its been processed it becomes darker blue depending how its been treated; shades are azure, turquoise and indigo. This metal can be cast or machined. It is also a poor conductor of electricity. Eilaro is used to make weapons, armor, tools, and any other common item. If allowed to oxidize, it will rust and turn black.

Name: Gehflif

Description: Gehflif is actually not a metal itself but a method of adding fiberous inclusions to the metal, allowing ore to be stretched farther without sacrificing much in strength. This method is commonly used on Kokrugun but works on a number of metals. The process leaves a visible pattern of lines on the metal and changes the color of the metal to brown. It will oxidize the same as the base metal.

Name: Halxna

Description: Halxna is a rare metal that is black with silver flecks. Somewhat fragile, this metal can be cast and machine worked. It is also possible to forge it, but it is difficult to work with. When polished to a high sheen the silver flecks shimmer when they catch the light. Halxna is typically used for jewelry or other decorative items. It does not oxidize.

Name: Kokrugun

Description: Kokrugun is a common black metal that is rather on the heavy side and is the purified form of Llirae. It can be forged or machined and is strongest in thick cross-sections. Kokrugun can also be cast but it is hard to work in this manner. This metal is used in the construction of buildings or other large structures. If allowed to oxidize, it will form black rust.

Name: Llirae

Description: Llirae is a common black metal found almost anywhere underground. It is lighter, but not as strong as Kokrugun.  This metal can be forged or machine processed and is used to make armor, non-bladed weapons and other common items. If allowed to oxidize, it will form black rust.

Name: Nilferton

Description: Nilferton is an uncommon black metal that reflects electricity. It can be worked through forging or machining. This metal is light but not as light as Silferton, although it is just as durable. This metal is used for electrical shielding, jewelry, weapons, and armor. It does not oxidize.

Name: Ocia

Description: Ocia is a rare metal that is light, a little weak, non-conductive and shimmering gold in color. It can be cast or machine worked. This metal reacts favorably to magic, helping to amplify its effect and is commonly used to make magical fetishes or other jewelry items. Occasionally armor and weapons are made, but they tend to be inferior in practical aspects of combat, and can be dangerous when facing magic wielding opponents since it not only helps the wearers magic, it makes them more vulnerable to others magic as well. Ocia does not oxidize.

Name: Paraqin

Description: Paraqin is an extremely rare metal with a silvery-purple hue. This durable metal can be cast or forged into a very light metal. It also is resistant to most magic and psionic powers as well as electricity. When worked at high temperatures it is very good for charging with or imbedding spells, making for an effective shield for buildings or towns. It can also be used to create a force field. This metal used to be fairly common but has now become over mined. While it makes excellent armor, weapons and tools, Paraqin is considered too valuable for citywide defensive shielding to waste on individual items. Paraqin forms an instant purple patina.

Name: Sharnuk

Description: Sharnuk is a very common pale blue metal that is an alloy of Eilaro and Xoyeis. It can be worked through forging, casting and machine processes. This metal is reasonably tough and is widely used for a variety of inexpensive or inferior goods such as cheap armor, weapons, and jewelry. If allowed to oxidize, it will rust and turn black.

Name: Silferton

Description: Silferton is a very rare silver metal with anti-magical properties that is very light in weight and extremely durable. It can be cast, forged or machined. Typically this metal is used for jewelry, anti-magical protection and machine shielding. Silferton does not oxidize.

Name: Tovqa

Description: Tovqa is a very common metal that is an alloy of Eilaro and Bornrak. Normally it is turquoise in color, although sometimes it comes in teal, sapphire blue or jade green. Tovqa is strong in smaller sections but not suitable for large items, thus it is used to make jewelry, and chain, scale, or ring mail armors. If allowed to oxidize it will form a blue tarnish.

Name: Vellian

Description: Vellian is an uncommon metal that is bluish silver in hue. This metal is primarily cast but can be machine worked with difficulty. It is very heavy and is used mostly in alchemical mixtures or as electronic components. Vellian does not oxidize.

Name: Vyeftium

Description: Vyeftium is an uncommon silver-green metal that is an alloy of Drachna and Silferton. It is difficult to work with, although it can be forged and machined. Additionally, it is non-conductive and resistant to magic. This metal is used for anti-magical protection and machine shielding, as well as lightweight weapons and armor. Vyeftium does not oxidize.

Name: Xoyeis

Description: Xoyeis is a very common grey-green metal that is considered a "junk" metal. It can be cast and machine worked. This metal can be used for anything that is not high-stress such as toys, casings, etc. Weapons and armor can be made from Xoyeis but they are of extremely low quality. If allowed to oxidize, it becomes tarnished with a red, blue, or black hue.
