Interestingly enough, there are a couple of other ways that the pope can be elected, but this is the most common of the three.

he was a part of Hitler Youth and worked for the nazi party. he didn't exactly support them once he found out exactly what they were up to (according to his biography), but none the less... haha, nazi.
