I said nothing about it.

You made backhanded little comments on both your website and here. And I don't have to take that. The fact is you ripped it from my site. And you should quit while you're still behind because I might leave a welt with all this bitchslapping. My question is, and I'm sorry if this has been covered before but I obviously still don't get it... What determines level for the creatures? I'm well aware that as a medic I can't hunt what a trooper my level can hunt so how do I figure how what my level vs that would be?

Every creature has a designated level. Anyone can strike something of their level because every character can triple train one or more weapon types. However, some professions have lower defensive skills and therefore are more likely to be injured during combat too, so some characters will experience better results from underhunting. For this reason, many combat/treasure related calculations include some amount of "padding" for underhunting to a degree.

If you want to know a creature's actual skill level, all skills are set to level x 2.6, with a cap of 220. So, a level 40 creature would have 40 x 2.6, or 104 skill. All fractional numbers are rounded down.

So.. in theory I can actually maybe hunt 50th level things? That's almost a scary thought. Wink

In theory you could hunt stuff your exact level and survive if you got in shots quickly before they hurt you and didn't swarmed. But realistically, yes you could hunt at about level 50. Of course you need to take precautions for the major factors aside from skill, i.e. encumbrance, vision, etc.

Okay thank you Trevor. I have to assume I'm no longer getting boxes from red gragroks because they're too low of a level for me so I'll move upward. On with the adventure!

Thanks for the chith and eraesha and the rest of the critters. Big help. I added them to the site now, though I don't remember how to spell Glim's last name. Let me know.

Kit's 52nd now. And he can handle up to 75th level things without dying if I'm fast enough and if they're on the advancement system. If things any higher then 38th get the melee, I'm in massive trouble. XD

Oh, speaking of red grags...can someone go in there and appraise them for level for me? Thanks.

I just want to make a quick comment here.

I spent quite a bit of time finding all of the critters today that I could remember. I did look at Dzynna's site for a bit of brain refreshment, since some I'd never really hunted or hadn't hunted in a year or two. I'd like to thank Haidee very much, because I mainly referenced her maps. I also was reminded that I'd forgotten a couple, so thank you Jade and Kit. I definitely know where they all are now. I did it to contribute a bit to the game, I sure didn't want it to turn into this whole ripping off thread. I apologize if it caused any hard feelings.

Cubs are kind of funny, they're only spawn in one room, which I remember from when someone used to hang out there all day long.

If anyone wants to know what room feel free to ask me where they are, IG.

Kit, how about putting whether or not a critter is poisonable on your site?
