What I am about to say may have no place in this mud, and I can understand and accept, no hard feelings whatsoever. Heh, to a large extent, I love it here, because our ideas are heard. Anyway, on to my point.
I would like to see a Non Combattant way of getting treasure. Now, before I go any further, I wanted to say this. I see what your saying about not getting treasures for free, there must be some risk. Unfortunately, my poor little heart doesn't enjoy those kinds of risk. So I chose places where I can put in a great deal of time in, to be able to get stuff. And for the most part, this place answers awesomely.
*Ponder* Having put that in writing, it sucks. *Sigh* Anywho, maybe this idea, even as bad as it is, can give you SOME idea of something, even if my particular take on it was as flawed as the bacon left out of the fridge a week ago.
Lastly, I don't believe any person should not have to learn Parry, or Evade. This said, perhaps if you DID go with the above mentioned idea, there would be possible risks in that you might dig into a gas pocket, and your droidlight would set it off. Just a thought. I don't even know why I am posting, since I already realize it stinks, but maybe someone else can do better with it then me.

Heh, now they tell me, moments after I trained fishing up to 28. I wonder where your supposed to fish. Now I feel like an absolute idiot.

At one point this was true, but that's no longer the case. Not only are your chances better with higher skill, but you get a chance for a "bite" more often with high skill.
