DT comm channel

How about a DT comm channel for those that work there? It could be treated as the buildings comm service. It would assist with a little RP, like if someone working spots an intruder or unauthorizes personnel lurking about, they could report it on the DT channel.

As to calling Kit an co. idiots for being, well that kind of behaviour shows lack of maturity and IS idiotic. So I was completely within my right to say that.

Heh you have no room to tell me not to go overboard on things. Why don't you take a look at some of your posts. You want everything in the game to break and for techs to be able to fix anything and make anything. If anyone is going overboard about something it's you.

It wouldn't be unfair to have a channel. As I said it could be treated as the buildings comm service, or even better yet there could be a system made for that type of thing.

Technically that wasn't IC for Kit to say shit because she was trying to call over her work channel for DT personnel to come clean up a mess. But since DT doesn't have a comm channel she couldn't do that now could she? And look what happened when she did it on the open channels, IDIOTS(yes that means you, Kit) just had to chime in and show their blatant lack of maturity with childish antics.

And you speak as if you have any say in the matter. It's up to Beau really, not you.

Though I won't comment on how childish that was, I don't think I need to. Your actions speak for themselves.

Back on topic. There's not much of a way to get involved unless Gawyn starts actively hiring or people do the 'flock to the GMNPC' thing as soon as he comes on.

As a side note...If I'd known this was going to turn into cries of favoritism, I'd have _never_ allowed anyone to be hired in the first place. All of you who actively RP when the opportunity arises are my favorites.

Its taken me some time to prepare areas that coincide with the plot we're working on, and I had planned to recruit people as things went by. I have my reasons for picking the people I have picked so far, and for not picking other people who have expressed interest. It pretty much comes down to the time I've had to design areas for less important plot points, which isn't to say people I might hire for those areas are less important. I can't really say that the people I HAVE hired are really doing anything important aside from adding to the atmosphere.

As far as a private channel goes, there are no plans for such at this time. The reason? Gawyn doesn't see why Datastream employees should easily share information back and forth, and a times they might not even need to know that another person works for the company. Each division is set up as an individual area...the Media level employees are like newscaster, and therefor would have NO REASON to come into general day-to-day contact with the people developing the holographic medical test devices on Level 13.

Wow. I'm an idiot now. I have to say, that sure is original. Especially since I act totally IC when I play. Tanis is a raunchy individual, and everyone knows that. rather than having a private DT comm chanel is there anyway that beau could put in place a tannoy system that only works within the DT buildings?

OOC because of rl stuff i have been unable to get into HR as much as i would like too but i am all for rp and would appreciate if someone doesn't mind keepin me up to date with things i may miss .

i do read the news but i also hear about new stuffs and end up chasing everyone to explain what they do or are?
