Will forgetting the manuals be like it is with spells? You only forget them if you're active? If you're idle or sign out do you still slowly forget them?

Can we get a repair bonus to the workrooms like there are in the other lab types? +6 to Alchemy in an alchemy lab.

Can we get curtains to our lockers in there? Maybe in the hallway? Carrying around all these parts and manuals and tools is insanely heavy.

Can the tool belts be JUST WORN and not really belts? That way we can wear a belt and one of these tool belts? Or, better yet, just the tool belts to tool pouches.

If the repair workshops get portals to their lockers, I hope the alchemy lab does too.

How many people keep components in their lockers? They'd have no room for anything else.

More than the amount of people that keep gadget parts in their locker, I'm guessing. My lockers pretty empty aside from the rares I have cluttering up, and I stow components in it occasionaly.

More people use the labs then the workshops. My guess for workshop use:

Kit, Zap, Thorne, Infierna, Enverdi, Yaru.

Who uses the labs? A great deal more.

I use neither. So, It doesn't really matter, but its not all that long of a walk to the bank vaults from the labs or the workshops. You could easily make a script for it. Unless you meant something like being able to rent lockers.

That I could understand. But less than 10 rooms away from the bank? Kind of lazy and rentable lockers would lead to abuse problems.

gadgets is a cool system, but i've never had any intention of really using the system long-time. i just wanted to see what it was like and go about my way. the repair process is fun too (i tried it last night, erm, 5 hours ago, maybe 6, whatever), but since techs can repair parts themselves (logically) and it's not like i get a big profit for repairing parts, there's no real reason for me to do that instead of say, tailoring which my profession is actually good at.

i'm an artisan, after all! Wink

There are portals to lockers in the strangest places. Like the theatre. So why not the workrooms? As usual, these posts are going insane on arguement. I had a request. Drake can say cool, or not cool, whichever he wants.

it doesn't matter to me (but i'll still debate...odd huh), but i always figured gadget parts took up too much space and you techs had your droids holding them, heh.

just the idea of having an item under 1 pound taking up vault space that could be used for something a lot heavier comes off as funny to me.

but then again, i'm always almost out of vault space, heh.

The point I was trying to make was that if one construction area (gadget workshops) were to get vault portals, then it would only make sense that another construction area (alchemy labs) would get a portal as well. I wasn't trying to "diss" your idea or anything, honestly. I was just throwing my own request out there.

Zap came up with a fun idea: A technician breakroom. It could have a vid screen, video games, a couch, tables, and some snack and soda vending machines.

I was wondering why there was all this stuff to repair broken parts when most of the parts you find aren't broken, besides the fact that the system is really cool, of course. Then Kit said it taught well, so I thought I'd try it out. I finally found a broken tube..and there's no manual for tubes. Sad
