I kind of forgot what this thread was about after reading most of the pointless nonsense. Are we comparing what we've done/can do in real life?
I put a de-assembled remote control car back together when I was like thirteen, with no know-how. Sure, it took a couple tries to actually get it to work, but none the less, I did it with no training in anything. And I didn't severely wound myself when using a soldering gun. I'm sure I could just as easily pick up a needle and thread and make something. So ... I demand to be able to repair comms, and sew things.
Anyways, I really never understood why Technicians were the only ones that could repair comms. I think it should be available to anyone that trains repair, just like repairing cyberwear is. Technicians would be able to do it better, faster, easier, or whatever, though. Same goes with gadgets.
Oh, now it's turned into a poster chat ... joy. And Kit, I so read that wrong at first ... kind of disturbing.

By the way, I think it was stated a couple of times in the Technician folder that gadgets would be Technician-only. I'll look for an example of this later today after my classes are over.

Actually, Kit didn't realize Drake DID say it was tech only.
