warping and weaving seem to teach me, at least.
i noticed warping teaches craftsmanship on nskill, but weaving doesn't teach anything at all. is that intended for now? _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

I have been warping and weaving non stop got this much done
a medium square of cotton,
a medium square of denim,
a medium square of purron wool,
a medium square of canvas,
a medium square of layoxa,
a medium square of linen,
a medium square of barkcloth,
a medium square of xila silk,
a medium square of veisio silk.
and have just over half a mind of exp so it does teach, just kinda slow
I dont know if certain fabrics are harder and teach more, Im going through them all to see if I can weave them all. _________________ Mellie Amresh says, "Send someone with a bigger dick."

yes there is skill required.
tailoring, craftsmanship, coordination, perception, and mentality are all used. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

Values of fabrics - These will be adjusted accordingly, and I will be making sure that you will not be actually losing money when you make items. Weaving was not meant to be a HUGE knock you down and roll around in money like a piglet in slop type of cash cow, but still a good way for the tailoring Artisan to make money.
In other words, it will definetly be worth your time to do, if you so choose to.
Experience from weaving - As of right now, there is not a difference in the amount of experience you receive from weaving a swatch from two different types of fabric. (Well there is slight random factor, but nothing that would cause a marked difference) Now if you were to weave a swatch, and then a square of fabirc, you would gain more since you be creating a larger project persay. Between the gain from weaving the fabric, and then tailoring that fabric into an item, the gain is a pretty nice overall chunk.
Weaving will eventually teach a nskill, I just haven't implemented that yet.

The same places one goes to sell non-tailored clothing...or containers...at a premium. _________________ Counselor Faith Tempest

it depends on the item, but Kafgi Kirilu buys all types of tailored goods at premium, except for washcloths (i know) and straps (i think), which he won't take. i don't think anyone takes those at premium. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

forgive the aol ftp space, but here is a price list for bought fabrics, woven fabrics, and skins/pelts/hides/scalpes.
the list includes:
1) price of fabrics you buy + item result price + profit gained.
2) price of skeins you buy + item result price + profit gained.
3) critter levels + item result price + price of the skins if you just sold them at premium _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

The values of woven fabrics have been modified somewhat, though I will be keeping a close eye on them to see if any other changes need to be made. _________________ ~Well behaved women rarely make history~

jabo sheets seem to work great right now (using trench coats when tailoring)l, but the swatches aren't making things a notable value over what the skein prices are (using scroll cases).
you're awesome for fiddling with these prices, by the way. i know that it's probably annoying to have me sitting around poking at them. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!
