Err, I remember the Enchanted Fishing Lantern giving a minus to everything it affected. I could be wrong...

it gives a +1 bonus to perception but kills heat resistance and focus and some other things.
it's good for searching, sorta, but not good for combat.

Why would you want to wear a dress and a robe at the same time? I'd think it would look a little odd, to say the least. But anyway, if it's not an ultra-rare, I think you can probably get a merchant to alter its worn location.. so long as it makes sense (like, on the shoulders or back or something).

| If you couldn't see the dress under the robe it wouldn't look weird; even if you could, it might be okay. You could be wearing it as a coat-type thing for extra warmth.. |
