Are there plans for new types of attacks to make up for this?

When I see these questions, I have to remind myself that every time I add more to my to-do list, that's longer until I can get cracking on stuff like finishing homes, which means even longer until I can resume working on Live production.

Still, I am going to assess the current attacks available, jot down what our needs are and either Marduk or myself will put in some new armed attacks. What type or how many I am not sure.

Now's a good time to throw in your thoughts on what you feel you need though. For stance slashing weapons. Is SLASH too weak but DOUBLESLASH too tiring, or are both too tiring and you'd like to see something weaker than SLASH but less tiring?

Honestly.. I'm going to take a few steps back and relearn some stuff. Since I'd stopped doing combat for so long apparently there's just a lot of things I need to learn or relearn. Tshar pointed out news 16 after I made myself out to be a total idiot asking if vitality dictates stamina [you were right Enverdi]. So.. there is another potion I can make. And I think slash is probably the same as doubleslash, just less of it but I'll let someone that actually has done combat all this time look at that.

Actually, while doubleslash is like doing slash x 2, you use more stamina than you would if you used slash x 2.

I fully intend to actually go and hunt this weekend since I'll be between classes, but before when I hunted I used FEINT and HOBBLE as well as SLASH, DOUBLESLASH, and SHIELDBASH (When I wasn't using my powers that is). If nothing else, it was to add some variety to the mix of only having two attack methods. Yeah, not many will be able to use SHIELDBASH, but it's there for me. I'm just curious as to the stamina drain on that attack now. And judging by the fact that I still have the highest NSKILL rank after not hunting for over a month and a half...I think I'm probably one of the only people that might actually be able to use it at all. O_o;

I don't think the changes are too bad. I'm certainly losing more per attack (about 5 with a pummel, 50 vit), so I have to rest between critters, but it's a very short wait. If I get a box or two, the time it takes to open it is more than enough time to recover.

I have Battle Hardened on with no encumbrance, so that might change some things, but so far, I have no real complaints with the changes.
