ironically, i thought something was broken based on the fact that i wasn't finding any of the new thing yet i was sometimes getting two links in one dig.
thanks for the tweak (which I'm off to test now) and the GPS unit upgrade. yay long range!

oh, i'd find one, then while still digging on the same map/excavation site/whatever, i'd find another.
there were no huge treasure troves of madness or anything. sorry for the moment of panic.

does the rate at which you find things relate to the rate of other diggers?
late at night/early am when noone is digging, i get 3-5 things per dig.
the last three digs i got 1-2, and i'm assuming that's because there are more diggers.
digging for an hour+ only to get a $600 flask is pretty unprofitable. i'm not saying add more super awesome things, but maybe raise the rate at which users can get items that sell. or the rate of the lower selling items (scarves, gloves, pottery shards, etc).

Not to let the cat out of the bag or anything, but I strongly encourage Artisans to train repair. The term repair can be loosely interpreted, though for Artisans think of it more as being able to 'restore' items of an artistic nature.

Why shouldn't bonuses be included? I don't think you're learning anything new from the bonuses, just that your abilities are amplified by whatever means.

i hope not. otherwise, the bonuses i get as an artisan are pointless.

Which part of restoration are you referring to bonuses being applied to? There's the skill requirement, which checks raw skill only, and the actual restoration process, which does include bonuses.

The new treasure is a battle standard. There are different types and you can attach them to some weapons and armor I believe.
