I accidently grinned instead of typing a y or n for accepting brokering. The next time the broker brokered with me, it went don't 10k.

Can we just have it so that you have to type a y or an n? And if you don't, it has a messaging: "Please type yes or no?"

Yeah, that'd really confuse all the poor people typing yes or no.

I don't see where this would be an issue if the wording comes up that you need to either type 'yes' or 'no.' It's been noted that on other systems, as soon as you type in another command it either defaults to an immediate yes or an immediate no. Maybe we could just has a set so we don't have to confirm everything? Lowering my sales price by 10k is a bit drastic because I grin instead of typing yes.

the bug is from a broker that is cancelled still counting on the ticker as a broker that was accepted.

it has nothing to do with the yes or no system being buggy. it has to do with the fact that the broker verb doesn't care if you say yes or no in relation to the ticker.

argh.

That's true, but it's still annoying to have confirmations overlooked when training, selling things at the pawn, and so on. I definately wouldn't mind having a SET to turn all those confirmations off.

From NEWS 112 today:
When seeking permission from a broker, the BROKER verb will now regard any anwer other than Y or YES as a "NO" answer. Declining to broker for someone will no longer cause a drop in market price.

Thanks!

To William -- Sellconfirm doesn't take off all yes/no questions...such as training ones. It had just been a suggestion.
