1) You CANNOT be brought/kept on the sparring grounds if you don't want to be (AVOID).
2. You CANNOT be killed on the sparring grounds.
3. You CANNOT be hurt on the sparring grounds and then dragged/teleported/etc. elsewhere to die.
4. Even IF you manage to die by some strange quirk of fate, what exactly do you lose? Not a damn thing if you are under level 4 or if you are revived.
So, get a grip, calm down and MOVE ON. Shit happens, deal with it and get over it. |
Again. I didn't name names. The reason I posted here is because another older one told me my points had validacy. It's not just about Sway and Zamde. I won't repost what I posted above.
Yes, I was pissed IG at the time. But I also explained that in my original post and above.
What do I want?
Just the situation to be known of, so that if it is your intention to make HR a positive gaming experience, you can, and if it isn't, well... disregard all of this.
Zamde did apologize, I've taken that into account. Right, you can't change the past. Zamde seems like a decent girl, I give her that. She mistook me to be involved in something I wasn't (Or was, just not in the way she thought I was). I saw a side of two characters everyone says doesn't exist. Eh, we can all be assholes.
But... with power comes responsibility. Since HR is unregulated. Just you older characters remember that. That was what I wanted. That point to be either remembered or understood. The effects of the older players is often felt beyond a single event or moment. As it spreads through the gossip circles, others take sides.
If you are big and powerful, play your character ICly as you see fit. But, remember, oocly, to keep everthing in perspective. You guys CAN and DO have a great deal of sway. IC, hell, play to the hilt. Just make sure that OOCly you aren't hurting people's feelings, or remind them it's all IC.
OOC, Zamde did apologize. And I DID accept it. Sway... well... *shrugs* You can see her post above. By my reasoning, she's still a bitch. And that's me as a player. Not my character. But if you go over the ways she's interracted with me both IC and OOC, well... you can't fault me for that assessment.
Don't bring up IC. I'm gonna deal with the matter IC as my character would, which is pretty much not a goddamn thing. What do you do against people with the skills equivalent to Gods? But then again, I didn't post this in any IC section did I?
Anyways, just remember.
If you have been here for a long time, you CAN and WILL have more sway then those who haven't. Be aware of that. Fair? It's not about fair. If things were fair, I wouldn't be here.
And no, this ISN'T about me whining. I was seeking a redress to my greivances. If you can't understand how that is an important aspect of any community, then read up on your politics, history, or sociology. And if that's too much for you, make your comments, but I will disregard them.
Redress of greivances is an IMPORTANT part of any community.
My greivance isn't with what Sway and Zamde did so much, but how the community responded to the situation when I went searching some sort of justice.

Okay, let's look at this with ROLEPLAY in mind.
Who do I consider more important. A level 1 nobody or someone who has the ability to summon a flock of citizens that all drool over her.
By THAT ALONE, I think Zamde SHOULD have more sway.
You're annoyed that an unknown citizen in a giant town hasn't the same influence as someone who has a gigantical reputation. And I'm going, "Well fucking duh."
