Nothing to do with no joking, Kit. Some things I, personally, feel are too important to joke about (if you can call what you said joking...sorry, different sense of humor than I have, obviously).
Giving respect to someone or something is earned. Giving respect is also learned. Unfortunately, not all can be taught that, any more than not all can be respected, I guess. |

Not really sure what all I was going to say, so here goes and I am going to sound blunt . . .
I didn't care when I first saw William's post saying for Kit to edit his/her posts and I thought William was being rather rude. Then, after seeing several posts in a row by Kit, I began to wonder if he WAS doing that for post counts (which I don't understand). Then it reached a point where it was getting really annoying. Now I get the impression that Kit posts the things and the way he does TO be annoying. I would probably not have said anything if it wasn’t for the fact that Kit seems to believe he is only irritating three people.
About the comments made by Kit in this thread and actually previous to it . . . I am embarrassed. I am American and I am ashamed by attitudes like that. If I were not American, I would be embarrassed as a human.

Yeah, I saw that cover at the bookstore... but I didn't notice the striking similarity it bears to goatse. I guess someone at Time got goatse'd and thought it'd be a great idea for a cover... goddammit, now I can't look at that cover without thinking of goatse.
