You would think something crated from the wood of a tree described like this would be, erm, of a higher value.

I know it's a rather boring color (who can love brown that much?), but I'm just not sure why the statuettes would sell so poorly. Especially since they were all finely-carved and without any errors (ie: a message saying I messed up).

I don't mean to always nag on this kind of stuff, but I'm not aware of anyone nagging that much about woodworking, so I'm unable to look and go, "Oh, that's normal, okay." I know you're not out to get me, I hope you feel the same way about me!
