I think that instead of having varying skill in embroidery designs to show the artisan's skill in tailoring, there should be options so that the artisan can sew whichever version of a design s/he chooses.
It seems weird that an artisan can only do 1 type of design per design and it's rather limited. I would think an artisan would be able to create more versions of an image than just one perfect kind.
Maybe only artisans can have that ability to choose which version of a design to sew as they improve in skill and in design later on, while non-artisans are stuck with whatever they are stuck with now.
For my own personal motivation: I'd rather have a lopsided heart sewn on my boxers
And stupid Yaru is too good at his craft. HMPH.
