As far as I know the difficult order is:

silbein
gaoun
haeleio
saifbraelsh
aefafe

Where do the foragable woods come in on this list? And, is this list correct?

I also noticed that the best thing to carve with intent to sell are statuettes, and thus they are also the hardest as well. Hairbeads come in second.

Grom-wood is quite difficult to forage for.(103 Ecology and I still can't find grom-wood branches[or was that limbs?])

Just so you know, difficulty to forage and difficulty to carve aren't linked.

It must be limbs. I can't find those but I can find branches. (Only 5 ecology though).

There was a long-standing bug with grom-wood limbs that has just been squashed. They are still difficult to find, but not impossible.

I think that the original reasoning behind not finding gromwood limbs was because that, being a living tree, limbs weren't able to be acquired until you, well, killed one and took some. I'm not sure the twigs/branches/etc. were even intended to be available at the start. Unless they were like paltry remnants or something.

I know there was a post somewhere on these boards where one of the counselors listed the wood difficulties. I just can't seem to find the right search query to locate it though. I seem to remember the hardest thing to find being one of the easiest to carve, and vice versa, though.
