if you learn dancing just to the point where you can use the ability, it won't be that effective, anyway (you should train charisma, too). but IIRC the requirement isn't that high at all. pretty sure you need under 40.

Thanks, I'm only a first promotion crat. So hopefully in like a 2 weeks i'll be able to use it, since i'm estimating that to be around 5th promotion... Thanks again you two!

It might be a little more then. I seem to recall having to have my crat be 8th to get it. That might just be because you use to need spell research though.

no you don't.

don't learn spell research if you're doing it only for spellsongs. it isn't needed anymore.

You only get so many points a level. I was saying that I might have had to wait til she was level 8 because I ran out of skill points. And when I actually played her, you needed spell research. Read a tad more carefully. ^.^

Just a brief comment here- back to the posts about a human racial song.

Due to the fact that Humans have been on Haelrahv for over 600 years, and that historically Humans have a habit of absorbing the culture that they are exposed to, and idea might be to have a small human quest, more role play orients to which other race/culture they feel more akin to and allowing them to be able to learn that 1 song.

Also thanks to both the list that Haidee posted and the one that Mickey started this thread with, here is a list with the use of the songs, put into order learned (Might it be possible for the list to show this way in game, or even in a list format rather then the single line as it is now, alphabetical or something, or even at least a command that would let us see in game what the spellsongs do.. IE Spellsong LIST Dance of time):

Does any group of abilities have a command to check the purpose of one of those abilities in-game? Outside of spellbooks, that is.

can't you read up on spells and psionics in the sanctuary?

Even so, I don't think there's a simple command to recall that information on a whim. Scripts notwithstanding.
