deathblow with weapons

I looked for a bug post about this but couldnt find it. . .dunno if its already been brought up. . .when dealing a deathblow with a weapon it tends to show the actual hit after the deathblow. . .though it doesnt do this with unarmed attacks that ive seen. . . only with melee weapons.


You slash powerfully through a large hatul's carapace, cleaving it wide open.
A large hatul crumples into a pile under the weight of its own shell, then dies.
In a display of raw power, you slash a thin-bladed titanium dagger at a large hatul. Mercilessly, you land a strong hit to his carapace as a large hatul fails to dodge the attack.

Same critter. . .same hit. . . it was just showing the actual hit after the deathblow.

Another thing with deathblows .. .dunno if this is a bug. . .was hunting with Aidan and this is what I saw. . .


Moving in quickly, a Jaddan skeleton charges at you. Despite its best efforts, you parry the attack with relative ease.

I looked twice. . .it looks like it just falls over and dies for no reason but she had attacked it. . .it just didnt show her strike. . just its neck collapsing from an invisible strike.

You might have a certain word squelched that just happened to be in that message. check all your squelches. If not, then that is strange.
