sure i missed...laugh now, i know i did, heh. But I slashed by gun? shouldnt i get a message like...
"Yeah dipshit, you trained the right skill that time didn't you!"
or something of some sort instead of trying to slash a non-bladed and what should otherwise be a non-melee weapon? Sure they appraise as blunt in melee but who in their right mind would slash a gun? I don't apply. Reasoning, refer to the 'right mind' portion noted above. |

| Swing it by the barrel, I guess. Since it appraises as a blunt weapon, it's gonna have all the attacks associated with, no matter how ridiculous they are, I guess... heh. |

It's intentional, all ranged weapons can be used as melee weapons although most aren't well suited to it, just like all melee and ranged can be thrown. You can slash with a blunt weapon and it will do blunt damage, it's just a swinging style more similer to, and more suited to bladed weapons.
