I just learned recently that anyone can repair cyberware, and at me at least this feels wrong. I feel that the repair of cyberware should fall solely in the domain of the Technicians, for it is similiar to me as having anyone be able to use an optical emitter, or cardiostimulator. Maybe there might be some technology later that anyone could repair, but fixing cybernetics would take the intense study and concentration of a technician in my mind. _________________ One must have knowledge beyond learning, and wisdom beyond understanding to say what can or cannot be. |

Anyone can fix cyberware but only technicians can repair it beyond a certain level of damage. Non techs can only do minor repairs. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

When Mellie was an Artisan she maxed repair being that its triple and still could only repair cyberwear if it was scuffed. I understand what your saying Kel but its like comparing non-Techs who can repair to non-medics using dermagel and dermaplaz. Not emitters or cardiostimulators. Trust me if your not a tech you cant do much. Just basic scuffs |
