Out of curiousity, do we have unarmed moves such as a stun, knockdown,
immobilize? I haven't played with them much yet, all I need is a yes or no
and I'll figure them out. And I'd really love to see combos for every
form of combat. IE Swing, jab, lunge, then the fourth move really
nailing the critter. Or a mix of unarmed, and armed. Sweep, jab, roundhouse, slash. The better you are, the better chance you'll have of completing the moves, but I'd hope every move would have to connect to get to the killer move at the end.

Sweep, hiptoss, and bodyslam all knock the opponent down. Nothing is guaranateed to stun or immobilize, however.

Headbutts are great for stuns. . .though not guaranteed.

There are a few moves that are more likely to induce a stun or cause a knockdown, and as mentioned, some guarantee a knockdown if landed. Shieldbash stuns non-undead. There are no attacks that effectively immobilize the character beyond a stun.

I know, for one, that William wouldn't help others figure out his routine (if only because he sees Unarmed Combat to be his profession's only means of defense, and once you start telling people your secrets they inevitably find the weakness with it), and I would hope that the other Guardians wouldn't just teach their routines blatantly over the comms, either. But hey, what do I know; it'd still be a nice benefit.

Make up ya mind Will, you say you're against helping others figure things out but you're expecting a hand out from Hunter?

I, the player, am not against helping others. But William is against helping others -- who I would hope you understand to mean non-Guardians -- as far as Unarmed is concerned (as it is his main defense and offense, you see). See the differences?

I don't think I'd like the idea of guardians automatically knowing the right sequences of moves. I think half the fun and half the challenge will be in learning what combos work better in different situations and against different types of opponents.

I guess the reason I was suggesting different moves and special things for guardians is because I am probably just too young to see all the benefits of our stances and meditations. I got frustrated because I felt like for people who spent so much time working on their unarmed combat, and no other weapon to waste time on, they should be THE premier unarmed fighters in Haelrahv, and maybe I thought I should be doing better than I was with that particuliar skill (I was an agent before I reallocated and felt I did better then). I'm pretty small, so I'm sure I'm not seeing the full benefits of the stances and bonuses that we get. Especially the percentage-based ones.

Some of these spells combined with unarmed moves are really great though! I don't miss my gridgun at all.
