Unlike the real world where society is deathly afraid anything different may corrupt our morals and very souls and lead to people beating frogs with rubber chickens in the streets ... yes, polygamy is as legal as each particular couple (or triple, or as Bill Cosby put it, "fourple") wish it to be.

Just wanted to take this oppurtunity to ask if there's any sort of legal system planned for live that would keep track of not only marriages but also births? I'd think it would be neat if there existed a public record room that players could go to to reference "family trees." Also, would be interesting if people had to apply to an authority before officially adopting another.
I imagine in most regions interacial marriagnes and adoptions would be legal, but it would be interesting to see what sort of controversy an Eolai for instance may raise concerning the adoption of one of their race by another.

Yeah, that would be nice. Seems like that one family is taking over and we're going to get to a point where everyone is related to each other. This could keep families in check, somewhat. |

| This marriage thing should be a decision made by each and every consenting adult regardless of whether it's two or more joined together. Being an Eolai, the Eolai have always considered themselves as a higher race but I'm not against marrying outside my race. Why do we have to worry anyway? It's not like the Queen cares or anything heh |

I agree that in order to adopt a family memeber we should have to jump a few hurtles. Now those CREATED to be family memebers, and have the same name is one thing but to be able to adopt somone in RL its a pain in the butt. There is all kinds of things you have to go through not to mention having to pay alot of money out for it and I would love to see that here.
