Would it be possible to have the perceived strength of a hit (I.E. superficial, strong, devastating, etc.) more accurately match up to the damage done by the hit?
Right now, a devastating hit can be anywhere from slightly scuffing something to completely destroying it. This may be in part (or totally) due to armor/resistance effects on the hit, i.e. if the hit does 500 points of damage, it will show as devastating, regardless of whether 499 of those were absorbed by defenses. _________________ -Downtweak

Yeah that is exactly the cause. Unfortunately, it is not something can quickly or easily be corrected. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato
