Hey! *pouts* I had given Morrigan an idea on a Bureaucratic only area and she told me something about there not being any guild only area in the previews... Well maybe this will let my idea I had come into the light, and nice work Zoz.

They both said the same thing in a different way. We have a lot more area built then you have access to, but it won't be opened to players until it's transfered to the new engine. _________________ ~Hunter~ |

I'm confused, I thought this new engine was going to take a looong time to get released....but sometimes it seems like ya'll talk about it likes its coming out in a couple of months. How come your waiting for the new engine to release the rest of the world? |

The best answer I can give you is.. the rest of the world is -huge-!
To put it in perspective, the current world you exist in has I believe 2 coordinate locations (latitude/longitude), aka 2 boxes on a world map grid.
The existing world is on a 50x50 grid, for a total of 250 grid boxes. Granted, a large portion of them aren't used, but each one of those locations contains an area comparably as big as the one you see now. Try to imagine the same set of staffers maintaining all of that on top of the numerous daily BUG reports.
The reason that Llanfair exists is so that gamers that wish to play may do so in an environment that contains nearly every one of the game's mechanics in working order, in a size that we can maintain while preparing a much much better place for all of you to immerse yourselves into. And for practicality purposes, do you see socialization or RP events possible in a world of a dozen large cities with 3 or 4 people each, most of whom can only afford communicators that can reach at most the nearest city?
Our long-term plans are very very expansive, and we wish that we could make everything available to everyone at this point. But for now, our focus is to create a solid, stable, and fast game engine in which we can drop an enormous world into without the gears screeching to a halt.
Trust me, you will not be disappointed. And don't forget that your existing world will not be neglected once we start working on the new place. _________________ -HGM Zoz Bryant |
