|
|
I have a some ideas for possible shapes/forms that can be made using wire wrapping. Something along these lines: swirl, web pattern, shooting star, spirals (think inverted vortex shape), knotwork. Possibly combine some of these, either with each other or some other jewelry item (ie a silferton navel ring with a spiral encasing a pear-shaped black diamond dangling from it).
The types possible would depend on skill level, and be based, I’d think, on the same skills as regular jewelry crafting. I’d think some forms would likely require a little less skill, in fact, as wire wrapping is a pretty basic form of jewelry crafting.
I’ve not worked with the various metals yet, so I’m assuming there’s a difference in difficulty to work with, so that’d also figure in to the needed skill to form a particular shape.
Lastly, I’d like to see this open to everyone. If you have the skills to craft jewelry, you’d also have the skills to wire wrap. |

And here I thought someone was gonna suggest a garrote/choking attack...*sigh*
Seriously though, this sounds kinda cool *Goes back to hiding his inner artisan*. _________________ Victim: Well, what is the creed?

I thought this was going to be a murdering thread too. Had to look back at the folder and make sure I had clicked on "Crafting" and not "hunting".
Sounds interesting though. _________________ >ask librarian about books

I was BSing with Miyako just the other day about death attacks like garotting, sniping, etc. We came up with good ideas, but the drawback is some profession (most likely Agents) will inevitably feel like their toes are getting stepped on. And with some justification.
Back on topic, it's a neat crafting idea. But Artisans are Hannah now, I just stand back and cheerlead. HA HA! HA! _________________ Mickey Brunner

Just want to point out, she is suggesting it be open to all. Not just Artisans. Up to you guys if it should or should not be of course, just saying. |

I think it should be an Agent only skill, nothing wrong with having profession only skills in my opinion. _________________ S.
