Performance bug?

[Dyahana]

I was doing a couple of performances with a friend and we caught something that was a bit odd.

For a poor performance this is what I saw:
The announcer intones, "Ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together in a round of warm applause for... Dyahana Fieraru!"
You make your way out on stage to a smattering of applause and minor bit of heckling.
Roundtime: 30 sec.

Although fully intending to do your best... you end up putting on one remarkable stinker of a performance. Pee-yoo.
Roundtime: 16 sec.

The manager eyes you with a minor amount of distaste. "I suppose you had an alright act, but your talent sure isn't worth what you're getting out of this. Now get lost." He hands you $27 and stalks off.



For a poor performance this is what he saw:
To a smattering of applause and some heckling, Dyahana Fieraru comes out on stage.
Unfortunately, Dyahana Fieraru puts on a lousy performance. In fact, you've seen better performances by Muruchubo the Tap Dancing Argabu.



For an addequate performance this is what I saw:
The announcer intones, "Ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together in a round of warm applause for... Dyahana Fieraru!"
You make your way to the stage amidst the audience's applause.
Roundtime: 30 sec.

With a modicum of confidence, you put on the best show you can; and while it's not a memorable performance, you still do pretty admirably.
Roundtime: 16 sec.

You bump into the production manager, who happens to be looking for you. "Not bad, I guess. Maybe we'll see you around here again sometime." He pays you $84 and smiles before wandering away.

This is what he saw:
The announcer intones, "Ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together in a round of warm applause for... Dyahana Fieraru!"
Dyahana Fieraru makes her way to the stage amidst the audience's applause.
'This is a good one.
You say, "This is a good one."
>Dyahana Fieraru is approached by the production manager and money exchanges hands.

yeah most of the mid/good/great results don't give messages to other people
