As some of you may have noticed I recently returned from my hiatus. After skiming the boards and news items I foolishly thought myself back up-to-date. Imagine my surprise when while fishing I found in a chest a "faceted guhnboru". Gem-cutting? Jewelery making? Can it be??
I would like to thank Morrigan (and all those also responsible) for rolling this out! I adore new systems to play with... only thing is I haven't the foggiest idea where to start. If anyone could point me in the right direction to get some info on this, or even post their factual nuggets here I would be most obliged! _________________ Behind every optic is a mathematic. |

There is a gem-cutting shack on Jareya. In the village. There are instructions, and you can purchase the tools you need. Make sure you mine and bring your own gems to play with! _________________

Thanks Dzynna :]
By the way, I found a small typo while playing around:
You are almost positive that your a rough square dark blue sapphire blankis tilted to a 45-degree angle and you begin to unsteadily grind a bevel two-thirds the height, roughly turning it as you work.
Roundtime: 23 sec.
I had to take a double take on that one. Thought I was cutting for so long that I finally lost it and became truly *one* with the gem. _________________ Behind every optic is a mathematic. |

That's not really a typo I think as much as it is a grammar flaw in the game where it puts 'a' in front almost everything, your is spelled correctly for the situation, the 'a' just needs to be removed, but there is a similar problem with at least a dozen other objects. Including my a asapi bone bone. _________________ End of line.

We generally appropriately label items with a/an, but once in a while a system that generates items without prior copies to duplicate will be missing the small snippet of code to ensure the a/an consistency. Feel free to BUG these, of course. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

There's also no space between 'blank' and 'is'. And welcome back Layne. _________________
