Here's some info on Jaddan births. I'll be posting more tidbits in the future.
Gestation period: 2 seasons. During the first ½ season Jaddan fetuses are ritualistically transferred from the mother to a pouch in the father’s stomach. The fetuses adhere to the walls of the pouch and are thus carried to term. Jaddan children are born extremely small, only a few inches in length and are without the hard skin known to their race, except for the bony nose plate, which is present at birth. Over the first season of life they grow rapidly, their skin hardens and by the 5th age they are basically full-grown. Family life is very important in the Jaddan culture, and children are raised not only by immediate family but also extended family as well. _________________ God has no place within these walls, just as facts have no place within organized religion.
