Thanks, Mickey, for the ability for this to negate Peaceful Lullaby.

I was wondering if there could now be a method to determine whether a room is peace'd other than attempting to attack something. Perhaps a Performer-only ability at xx-level?

*agrees* Yeah that'd be really helpful. You can't even tell with SONG if you've casted it and my memory isn't that good.

And it would be nice if you DID put it in SONG so we could see how long it's going to be going for too.

I'd also like to see it made easier to negate your own Peaceful Lullaby. Sad

Maybe telling whether that specific song is in effect would be Performer-only, but anyone should be able to tell whether they personally are "calmed."

is the BC negation thing only for performers or is that for everyone?

Yeah, sorry, I was just being selfish. Maybe a line in SURVEY could be used to tell you if the room is peace'd.

And Yaru, as far as I can tell, I don't think the negation is limited to Performers.

However, this is what Mickey told us (essentially):
**Charisma is a factor (Haidee and I figured this out on our own); should be obvious, because the strength of a spellsong is directly affected by Charisma.

**When trying to negate, your Singing skill is trying to overcome the Stringed skill of whoever performed Peaceful Lullaby.

Haidee and I have also noticed that there's a wide range for the rolls to be made. I'm only able to overcome her Peaceful Lullaby every now and again. However, she can't seem to overcome mine at all. This could simply be the fact that her Charisma is inferior to mine, but her skills are pimped out against mine.

Applying Peaceful Lullaby to the list of active spellsongs wouldn't be helpful, because the effect is on the room the song goes off in, rather than on the Performer.

Anyone with the Battlefield Chant is capable of overcoming a Peaceful Lullaby.

The way that the spellsong vs. spellsong works is basically the offensive rolls of each performer comparing to one another (the one using Peace sets the difficulty, and a would be Chant has to beat it).
