not sure if it was because it tried to access a hopper and failed or if it was from Rime Cloud wearing off.

If you search a corpse that still has a psionic going on it, it'll generate an error. It was fixed early on, but it was re-broken with the recent changes.

got ya. most of the time the cloud does vanish, and that is why i was confused as to what caused it.

a wide carbori crystal bracelet
I've seen these before, the +1 ecology bracelets. I thought Kuchos have unique rares now.

just because they have unique rares doesn't mean they don't have any of the normal ones.

FYI - Spontaneous Combustion, Spirit Slash, Piercing Stare, Psychic Hammer, Rime Cloud, Pyrokinesis, Spirit Cleave and Ethereal Lance should no longer have these problems if you search a kill before the damage cycles end effect.

Ooh. I thought it was like lurkers with new stuff. Half the rares I get I've never seen before anyhow, so they're almost all unique to me anyhow!

RC doesn't do this still, but PH still does.

I think I've fixed this as of an update yesterday. BTW as a side note, if RC does/doesn't do it, PH will or won't too. All the lowest tier materialization powers share 98% of their code. I found that what was occuring was that if you used one of these on a critter, then it died and you searched it before the power made its first "pulse" of damage, you caused an error. I verified this, put in a fix, and verified it stopped happening after the fix.

it happens on and off from what i saw. sometimes it wouldn't cause the bug, sometimes it would. at least i know i was driving rikiar and hannah crazy by the bug messaging i'd get every few minutes or so.

I don't see any error messages for this since I last updated it, so I'm hopeful it is indeed fixed. But, if it pops up again, I'll look more.
