Character Saves.

Periodically, the game does a global save of all characters and other settings. During this time there is a brief delay. This can be confusing because it can seem like lag due to a connection problem and some may be worried during activities like combat.

You will now receive a message when your character is being saved, and when the process is done. Additionally I'd like to mention that ALL game processes stop when this is taking place. This means a monster will not keep attacking you for example, during this time. You can type in commands, but they will not be processed until the save is done. The world literally stands still for a moment, and you will be safe from any harm during that period of time.

We apologize for the inconvenience associated with these saves, but they are crucial should we experience unexpected downtime, so that your progress is not lost.
