Weapon and armor damage will be part of Haelrahv, and Artisans will be the go-to person for non tech items, while pulse weapons and stuff will be for technicians. As to when this will be and live/test, I can't comment.

I also could not comment at this time whether "anyone" could do lesser repairs.

Where to begin....

ar-ti-san .....1. a person skilled in making things, esp. with the hands; craftsperson/craftsman.

crafts·man...1 : a worker who practices a trade or handicraft
2 : one who creates or performs with skill or dexterity

So in essence it is not fair to try to label what exactly an Artisan is capable of doing per say. An artisan by meaning is one that learns a trade/skill and performs it above and beyond what the general populace is able to do. They devote their lives to their trade, not just dabble in it here and there.

Ok, first lets toss weapon repair out the window right now, since it is not something I am even remotely willing to tackle at the moment. And to be honest it does not fit into the artistic genre we are talking about at the moment.

Secondly, I have received Trevor's approval to do a couple systems (that do not include weapon repair) that will send a few professions into a frothing frenzy of hapiness. I am not sure when these will roll out since they will be pretty extensive and I am still laying the ground work for them.

1) All armor will eventually need to be repaired
(Do not ask who, when, or how... I am not telling that part)

2) Trackers (who are already the master craftsmen of creating light armor) will be able to craft light armor that will be superior to non-crafted light armor. (Once again, do not ask who, when, or how... since I am not going to divulge that part until I am ready too.) Wink

Just a reminder: All professions receive "Love" from the staff, and the staff is constantly working on new things to enhance the game.

See? I'm not strange.

However...weapon repair *should* be considered...
