Anyone interested in me hosting a weekly or bi-montly roleplaying forum to better focus on small topics? I was thinking sometime in the evening, maybe 7 or 8ish Eastern, for 30 minutes to an hour. Thanks.

The only day of the week I could realistically say that I could go would be on Sunday. Every other day there is classes or the possibility of labs for said classes.
But...could someone post logs if these do start? I would have liked to have gone to Beau's other RP forum thing the other night, but I had class...

I'd be interested in anything promoting some real RP. Evenings are great.

I didn't log, but the gist of it was about characters and their backgrounds. You don't have to plan out every second of your life up until now, but a general idea will flesh out your character. There was mention about keeping a "character notebook" to jot down any significant things that happen during your time in Haelrahv that might effect your character's personality. There was talk about "quirks" and things, like your never speaking, to add to the character's appeal.
Then we started creating NPCs for Llanfair. I only got to see the first one, though. It was a balding, blind and senile old Darju named Gor Folaz.

Yes. Keep a notebook of information about your character...something to record all the little details so that when you exclaim, "Ooh, I like chocolate better than anything else!" you don't contradict yourself tomorrow....
Also, its good to have little quirks, like Nelle's obsession with coffee, or Endymion's obsession with not taking credits even after people have trekked halfway across the world to visit him...it makes life interesting.
