Hey, we need a thread for cool sites we wanna pass on.
Anyway, this site is kinda neat if you're into photography or just seeing places around the world.

They're not interesting, but they're sites.
First, everyone go download Gaim (http://gaim.sourceforge.net) because AIM sucks. Gaim's actually more like Trillian, except it's better. They just made 1.0, so it's technically not in beta any more.
Then, if you haven't, go download Firefox (www.mozilla.org/products/firefox) or Opera (www.opera.com). Firefox just hit 1.0 as well (well, beta 1.0, but it's close) and Opera is on like, version 7. Go download one of them, because IE sucks.
Edit: I know how to spell it, I promise.

The thing I don't about Opera is that it when you close one tab, it sends you back to the tab you were last viewing. I'd rather it move me to the next page, but that's only because I'm used to it, because I used Firefox first.
Both > IE. |

If you're a fan of KoL's greater than dungeon, point your browser at http://www.nethack.org to see where it derived from. _________________ Mickey Brunner

Turnip, typo in your link. You did sorceforge instead of sourceforge. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

THE best time-wasting site (besides HR) ever: www.homestarrunner.com I recommend Strong Bad E-mails and Teen Girl Squad (both under Toons) |
