C'mon, it wasn't really that bad an idea, was it?

Also what's the deal with looking at a comm and seeing XX% of its charge remaining? It has never made any sense to me since solar comms and super-charged batteries seems to max out at 80%. Can we just get a number of days remaining on the battery?

It's not a bad idea. It is a pain in the ass to code. <g>

Comm thing... maybe. The maxing at 80% thing was just sloppy code done in a rush when we needed comms quickly.

Ha, here's the post.

No more 80% charges on full batteries. It's fixed.

I think we should get emotes on the comm too in reguards to the voices we're using. I mean, it's a vocal device. That way people can stop using the ever annoying < > or * * to denote things.

While vocal emotes are a good idea for the comms, people already have difficulties doing simple private transmissions. You'd quickly get a handful of people doing..

[Comm] (0) Joe Bob says >sweetly I'm so sorry.

..Or something. And it just causes more pain for everybody. The modifying indications (ie. < > or * *) aren't all that bad. It starts getting annoying when people use them for physical actions or do complete paragraphs within them.
