Leaning toward playing a Human Tech, yes the other races have their places in my future character roster, but prolly going with the Human at start.
Questions I have are about using actual team sports names, players, things that may have brand names, Pepsi, Snickers, Pizza Hut, Doritoes, KFC, Mcdonalds, etc....
I'm thinking of making my character a lover of baseball but with his facts mixed up <Chicago Cubs winning say 17 straight Super Bowls with the great players Jordan, Andretti, McEnroe, Hamm, Babe Ruth, heh just as an example>

<grin> I don't think it's a problem, but we have to adhere to your traditional copyright/trademark laws, so you wouldn't be able to have a chicago cubs hat, etc.

Oh man, you're gonna be one of our players who is always thinking about the details, aren't you? ;D
I think we can use brand names until we get called on the carpet. One day, the game will be so huge that we have to stop advertising for free. You know what I mean? <grin>
However, there is the latest copyright infringement case going on between the English rock band Oasis and some car company.
Good question. Your idea for a messed up sports fanatic should be fine and entertaining. I think the NFL, MLB, NHL, WSL, NBA and any other sports acronym have better things to do than surf the Net for name protections. Well, as long as the baseball players don't strike, right?

What do you mean messed up? I read the rosters of the team on the Daily Bugle written by Oprah Winfrey and Don Knotts.
