When you pick a box, the roundtime experies shortly before the box actually becomes unlocked, so you can do things like this:

>pick safe
You get a steel L rake pick from inside your master kit and begin picking a dilapidated vyeftium safe.
Roundtime: 11 sec.
You get a wishbone tension wrench from inside your master kit and continue picking a dilapidated vyeftium safe.
pick safe
You get a steel short double-ended pick from inside your master kit and begin picking a dilapidated vyeftium safe.
Roundtime: 12 sec.
You hear a soft click from the vyeftium safe.
You get a wishbone tension wrench from inside your master kit and continue picking a dilapidated vyeftium safe.
put kit in back
>You put a master lockpicking kit in a rugged high-capacity telyron-fiber backpack.
You hear a soft click from the vyeftium safe. |
Nothing terrible happens because of this, of course, but I thought I'd point it out. Oh, and you can do the "put the kit away before it clicks" thing even if it's your first time picking the box. |

Thanks, Solphan. Gotta bother you again, though. Now, if you ever have to toss away a pick, you get a "... wait X seconds" message and it doesn't throw the pick away. You can still use it on another box, and it'll try to throw it away again, but it's stuck because of the RT.

You get a short twist tension wrench from inside your master kit and continue picking a dilapidated temia coffer.
You hear a soft click from the temia coffer.
Your S rake pick has been worn out to the point of uselessness. You toss it aside.
... wait 2 seconds.
>l in kit
Inside a master lockpicking kit you see a steel S rake pick, a steel long hook pick, a steel large diamond pick, a steel small diamond pick, a steel short double-ended pick, a steel long double-ended pick, a steel double ball pick, a steel L rake pick, a standard tension wrench, a short twist tension wrench, a thin line tension wrench, a double-ended tension wrench, and a wishbone tension wrench. |

This one was particularly crunchy, but it still ended up squished. Now I have bug goo all over my boots..
