Parry currently does not work as a defense against piercing stare (i.e., you get raped no matter how much skill you have).
If you're not supposed to be able to parry piercing stare, you should automatically dodge when in parry stance. If you are, it should be fixed.
Didn't bother trying this with any other psi abilities, because it was emasculating.

That wasn't really the point. But anyways, if it's all in my head, that wouldn't go a long way to explain the gaping wound in my abdomen.
