It's just a product of lazy code. With multi-shot archery weapons, when bolts break, no notification is given, so some break but you're not aware of it.

Neifl actually came up with some calculations, I think they're on this board maybe or on Gabriel's site (check the player links on haelrahv.com). They weren't perfect but quite close.

Bonuses don't count, only your base charisma. As to the rest, well other players have theories, I'll leave it to them to comment. Wink
